Varahi Navratri 2023 Dates, Ashada Navaratri in Telugu

Goddess Varahi is worshiped during the night from Ashadha Sukla Prathipada to Ashadha Shuddha Navami. These are called Guptnavratri.

Varahi Navratri is one of the four main Navaratri that falls in Ashhad.

Varahi Ammavaru means Bhudevi. When Hiranyaksha took Bhudevi into the waters, Lord Vishnu incarnated in the form of Varahar, killed him and saved Bhudevi. It is seen in some Dhyanashlokas that Ammavarahi took the form of Varahi out of devotion to Swami, therefore she is the female form of Varahaswami. That means Varahi Maa is not someone who gives all wealth. Shri Mahalakshmi. That is why in the hymn of Shri Lakshmi Sahasranama it appears as Varahi Dharani Dhruva. So worshiping this goddess fulfills all desires like Varahaswamy. Prevents, or resolves, conflicts.

If we observe the form of Varahi Matha, she gives us darshan with Varaha face, Eight shoulders, Shankha, Chakra, Hala(plough), Musala(trowel), Pasha, Ankusha, Varada, Abhaya hands...This is the form of Mahavarahi(Brhadvarahi)...More.  Varahi Matha receives the worship of worshipers as Laghu Varahi, Swapnavarahi, Dhumravarahi and Kiratavarahi.

If you look carefully at the picture of Varahi Matha, you will see that she is wearing Halam (plough) and Musalam (trowel). Plow is used for plowing the land and pestle is used for threshing grain. By this one should understand that Varahi Matha is the Vegetation Goddess. It means that Kalpavalli is Shri Varahi Mata, who gives abundant crops. That is why she is worshiped in the month of Ashad. In fact, if a farmer cleans and cultivates the land through cow-based agriculture, it is also a kind of Varahi Upasana.

On Ashad Navratri every day, worshiping Sapta Matruka deities and Ashta Matruka deities and on the eighth day worshiping Goddess Varahi will lead to prosperous life.
